Mom Jordan truly was my second mother. My mom and one of Viv's best friends, worked full time, so when I arrived from school or there was a snow day, up to Mom Jordan's home I went until my parents arrived home. After losing my mom 20 years ago, Mom Jordan continued her mothering ways with me. Viv, I love you and will miss you like I miss my own mom. I'd say rest in piece but you have rejoined Walt, Jean and Coco and I know you all are having a wonderful time helping to run Heaven. Peace.

Br. Rahl Bunsa posted a condolence
My entire Bunsa family is very grateful for the life, friendship, and impact of Vivian Jordan. She was an extremely close friend to my dear Mother (who also died in the month of August, seven years ago). Together they spoke daily, went on retreats, went for exercise walks, laughed, cried and prayed together as close 'sisters.' The joyful and supportive effects of this friendship spilled over into the Bunsa home. Because these two women had such strong and consistent faith, I believe that their reunion together before Christ Jesus will far exceed all the joys they so clearly shared together on earth. My prayers are especially for the Jordan family during this time of grief.
Love always,
(Br.) Rahl

Remembering Vivian with love and blessed to call her friend since arriving in Basking Ridge circa 1991. Dolores Durso introduced us, as we drove to the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart for an afternoon with the Newark Symphony. Introductions continued with Walt, love of her life – her “honorary sister” Mary Bunsa and so many friends at St. James Parish. Viv’s heart was as wide as the world, her generosity knew no bounds. When we built our Bethel Ridge Community Home, Viv designed and sewed the window treatments for the common rooms with great care. My prayers are for the Jordan Family during this time of loss. Peace and love in the heart of you, Jan.

Walt - I can only say that I feel your pain as I lost my dad at 99 a year ago. I am sorry I didn't make the services and remember your mom as a wonderful woman. Please extend my thoughts and prayers to your family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Please know that God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. Psalms 34:18
