Our hearts go out to Lorrie and the wonderful family at this time. Jack was a warm, smiling ,quiet presence who made you feel better just being in the same room with him. He was a wonderful friend to everyone and we are blessed to have known him. We will miss him.

My Grampy was my best friend. He was always there when I needed him and never more than a phone call away. He will be missed but never forgotten. Love you Grampy <3

Growing up watching Jack interact with the other men in our families-whether playing cards, lunch with the other cab drivers, or stopping by after driving our grandmother to Long Island from the Bronx…he always seemed so pleasant, approachable and interested in others. As an adult, when Jack visited Florida, he was amazing to talk to and spend time with even for a quick lunch. Jack honored our family when he stood in for my brother’s wedding as a family leader and his presence will always be felt. One of the icons growing up in many of our family’s memories…..best to all.
