Though beautifully written, it is so hard to believe that this is my mother's obituary. I guess that no matter how old we get, we want to believe our parents will never leave us. My mother was the classiest woman I have ever known. Several times I've wanted to call her on my lunch break only to remember she won't be answering the phone. Her life was not always smooth sailing...for 3 years she raised us on her own all while working a full time job...she was fortunate that we were pretty good kids. When she married Jack, they both were tasked with raising 6 children which I know wasn't the easiest thing to do, but in the end, looking at my siblings, we all turned out to be good, kind, hardworking, people, and that is truly a accomplishment and a jewel in the crown she wears today. You did good mom, my heart will never grasp the reality of your absence though my mind keeps trying to convince me. You are where we all hope to be. Give my boy big hugs for me...until we are all together again.
