Olumide’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Olu's memory will be filled with his infectious laugh. I can still hear it now. Waliking into the office in the morning, you would know Olu was there when you smelled the oatmeal in the microwave along with his large cup of duncan donuts coffee. Olu was a kind and genuine human being and his passing is a tragic loss.

Mullery
To say your passing is a rude shock is a massive understatement.
We still can’t comprehend that you will no longer be at the other end of the telephone call once a week or once a fortnight or every evening almost during a golf major event.
But who are we to question the Almighty. We however will continue to cherish the memories we shared over the years with you, Uchente and the rest of the family
To think that the lovely dinner we had with you during our last visit to NJ Jose’s than a week before the glorious but sad day of your passing was a bye-bye one and we will not have the opportunity to give you a return match when next you come to the UK
We thank the Almighty for allowing our paths to cross on this side of your sojourn, and we pray that we will meet again of that glorious day.when the roll is going to be called at the feet of our Lord - Jesus Christ
We pray that the things you cherished most - including holding your family immediate and extended in love will continue to grow and most especially your wish for your kids to get into good colleges in the US - hummm - with you as the strong coach- will still happen by God’s grace
We will continue to pray that your legacy of love, structured existence, and development and mentoring of the young ones (especially from the developing world) will continue in a significant way
Death where is thy sting indeed
Uchente and the two children and the extended Emuleomo family please accept our sympathy, may our friendship created through Your Olumide our Mullery never grow cold or blow out IJN Amen
Uchente we pray for strength for you to soldier on, unfortunately we will not be able to be with you this week as we are already on our way to the Far East but will surely be with you in spirit, if technology which Mullery adored and developed cannot be arranged to stream the events
We have lost a very dear friend - God help us,!

My sympathy. I didn't know this man but his smile caught me. God's Holy Word speaks of a future resurrection for millions upon millions of descendants who inherited sin and death from the first man Adam (Roman's 5:12). By means of Jesus Christ who gave his precious life in order to soon eliminate the enemy death, may the sure hope of seeing your loved one again be a source of comfort to you. Job 14:14,15; John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:3-5

TRIBUTE TO OLUMIDE EMULEOMO
“The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places; how are the mighty fallen!
Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the street of Askelon lest the daughters of the philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph
Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew neither let there be rain upon you, nor fields of offerings; for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away….” 2Sam 1: 19-21
Olu we can not still comprehend the news of your sudden departure to the great beyond so soon. You had always being a star and pride for and on behalf the family. Brilliant, erudite, organizer, cool headed and kind cousin you were.
We were all looking forward to when you will come back to Nigeria with all your achievements abroad to occupy the vacuum created by the exit of your late father some years ago. A royal prince of the Kunmi Dynasty. Ologho je oye meji, O je kan ni Ugbo, O je kan ni Mahin(The wealthy royal prince that was honored with two great chieftaincy titles one in Ugbo kingdom and another in Mahin kingdom)
Your life though short we are proud that it was laced with outstanding achievements and landmark activities.
Olumide we shall all greatly miss you no doubt because you left at your prime. We however have solace in the Almighty God and strongly believe that you have gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
We are still unable to recover from the rude and shocking news of your sudden demise without any parting words or signs to any of us.
Every one of us will miss a man of principles, disciplinarian to the core, loving personality, caring, playful, devoted, husband and father
We loved you so much that we could have done everything possible to have you alive if given the option but definitely we know your Creator loves you more and knows why your departure has to be this time
Farewell and good night until that great day when we shall meet to part no more.

Terribly sad to hear of Olu’s passing a few days ago. He gave me my first job in the trading industry and hired me again a few years later when I went to him for advice about my career. When I wanted a recommendation letter for graduate school, university knew I could rely on him.
As I write this, several times I’ve typed out the various ways in which he was kind to me over the years but I keep deleting them because no single incident adequately captures the generosity of his spirit.
For the past several years I’ve been meaning to go back to New York to meet him and other friends. Maintaining friendships should be a higher priority in our lives.
Olu was a mentor and a friend. I’ll miss him dearly.
My deepest condolences to his family.
