Obituary of William G Harrigan

William Harrigan, age 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in his home surrounded by his close family. He worked for Morgan Stanley for over 25 years, including in the World Trade Center, though by the grace of God he was travelling on 9/11. He was a Boy Scout Leader and Eagle Scout Counselor with Troop 351 in Basking Ridge, NJ, and was an active member in Mount Zion Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, participating in the food pantry and choir. He also taught CCD at St. James Church in Basking Ridge, NJ. He is survived by his two sons, Thomas, 23, and Joseph, 22. Visitation will be on Sunday, July, 31 2016 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 1 2016 at St. James Church, 184, S. Finley Avenune, Basking Ridge, NJ,10:00AM, to be performed by his cousin Father Francis Xavier Clooney.
