I remember Dave as being one of the nicest guys in our class at Williams College, always with a smile on his face, and well liked by everyone. Except for greying, his looks changed very little over the years as can be seen in our 50th Reunion Book. His three days at the time of our graduation were quite unique - graduating one day, having a bachelor party that night, a wedding rehearsal the next day and marrying Judy the next, all in Williamstown. He wrote in the Reunion Book: "After fifty years, I feel I did a few things just right and would not change them for the world, going to Williams and marrying Judy." Great guy and wonderful memories.
Grant David eternal rest, O Lord,
and may everlasting light shine upon him, with your Saints forever.
And may the abundance of God's Peace be with you, his family and friends.

I was honored to have worked with your father when he was Judge of Bernards Twp.
Municipal Court. He always had a smile on his face and was a fair Judge. He invited me over to his house a couple of times. I am retired now from the Police Department and I
wanted to pay my respects to the family.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I have also felt your pain, I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4 Comfort from knowing that God feels for us when we suffer. Assurance that God does not cause our problems.—James 1:13
Sincerely,
Roberta

Dear Connolly Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. My deepest condelences go to all of you. When I lose a loved one I like to look to the Bible to comfort me. A scripture that I love is found at Acts Chapter 24 Verse 15. And it basically says that how Jehovah God has an endless memory and will resurrect our loved ones. So this gives me comfort that I will see my loved ones again. And I'm sure you will see your beloved David J Connolly again. You all are in my prayers.

We met Mr. Connolly only twice -- once at Dave's move-out party in Sparta years ago, and more recently, and more briefly, at the Tewksbury Inn. From his obituary we learned about his past, but through Dave's heart-felt love, honor and respect for him we learned about his wonderful nature and character. Peace to the Connolly family.

Connolly Family,
It has been many years since Dave and I have crossed paths. Dave represented AT&T and other large NJ corporations (in the "old days") and I was a real estate developer.
I attended many negotiations, Planning Board meetings and the like with Dave.
I remember that he was what I would call a "gentle man" in addition to being exceptionally bright and fair.
I'm certain the Connolly Family is very proud of his accomplishments, but I wanted you to know that he left an indelible mark on many.
With my deepest condolences on your loss,
Mitchell Hersh

My sincere condolences to the Connolly family on their loss of Mr. David Connolly. As a past long-time employee of Pitney, Hardin, Kipp & Szuch, I remember Mr. Connolly and the prestigious and welcoming Real Estate Department that he was so dedicated to, along with such a great support staff, which included his assistant, Laura. What a kinder and different time! Thoughts and prayers to all,
