Obituary of David Earle Hughes

David Earle Hughes , age 70, of Warren, NJ died peacefully Saturday January 9, 2016 surrounded by the love from his family. Visitation will be held at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. He and his wife, Joanna, were in love with each other for 49 years. He was an "awesome" father to his sons David (Elaine) and Eric (Melissa) and loved them more than life itself. He absolutely adored his grandchildren James and Arianna and was so very proud of them. Nothing was ever more important to him than his family. Dave grew up in Short Hills, NJ and was the son of Lewis and Ruth Hughes. He graduated from Lycoming College in Wiliamsport, PA in 1968. He loved to watch and play golf and can now play whenever and as much as he wants!
