Obituary of Hermosa Fonseca

Hermosa Fonseca, 92 of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving and nurturing mother and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Fonseca was born in Manzanillo, Cuba and came to the United States in 1946. She became an American citizen in 1962. She lived in Long Branch, NJ with her husband before moving to Basking Ridge to live with her daughter and son-in-law following the loss of her husband in 1990. She is survived by her two sons, Gerardo M. Fonseca and wife Ai of Manhattan, NY and Ricardo M. Fonseca and wife Barbara of Freehold, NJ. Her daughter Emilia F. Wiener and husband Barry of Basking Ridge, NJ. Two granddaughters, Aoi and Gabriella Fonseca. Also survived by her brother Manolo Manrique of Manhattan, NY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ from 9:00 – 11:00 AM Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. Entombment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Red Bank, NJ. in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
