Obituary of Anna Viola

Anna Viola, 90, of Basking Ridge passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Queens, NY, and then settled in Basking Ridge. Anna loved to spend her free time reading and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a parishioner of St. James Church, Basking Ridge. Anna is predeceased by her husband Salvatore in 2007 and her daughter Elizabeth in 1971, brothers Gasper and Peter, and sister Josephine. She is survived by her two children Michael Viola of Arizona, and Patricia Picerni and husband Anthony of Basking Ridge. Also, survived by her eight grandchildren Nicole, Jennifer, Michael, Steven, Monica, Anthony, Christopher, and Nicolas. Three great grandchildren Ava, Addison, and JD. Her sister Mary Occhineri. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge from 2:00-4:00& 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 10:00AM at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge. Interment will follow at Pinelawn National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
