Obituary of Kathleen "Kathy" Kelleher

Mrs. Kathleen Kelleher, 56, of Basking Ridge passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home. Kathleen was born in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Basking Ridge where she spent most of her life. She retired as a school teacher in 2012 from the Tree House School in Basking Ridge. She was a parishioner at The Church of St. James, Basking Ridge. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She spent most of her free time enjoying her children and beloved grandchildren. Kathleen had a passion for cooking and excelled at entertaining family and friends. Her other dear passions included music, the beach, and enjoying time with her friends. Kathleen is survived by her seven children Daniel Kelleher III of Bedminster, NJ, Erin Bartiromo and husband Greg of Bedminster, NJ, Thomas Kelleher and fiancee Susan Mulholland of Chatham, NJ, Katelyn McDonald and husband Jesse McDonald of Bernardsville, NJ, Kelly Kelleher of Far Hills, NJ, Brittany Kelleher of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Maggie Kelleher of Basking Ridge, NJ, Also survived by her three grandchildren Kiera Kelleher, Brooke and Caden McDonald and her two sisters Laureen Brennan and husband John and Kim Mayer and husband Mark. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015, 10:00am at St. James Church. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heartworks Foundation in Basking Ridge.
