Obituary of Angelina P Fischetti

Angelina P. Fischetti, 92 , passsed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 19,1922 to Antonio and Angela Barbarotta. Upon Graduation, she worked for Household Finance in Mid-Town Manhattan. She married a world war two Veteran Michael T. Fischetti, upon his return from service in the miltary. In 1954, Angelina and Michael moved to West Paterson, NJ. she lived there for 54 years. She resided in Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge for her last 6 years. She was a member and long-time volunteer at St. Bonaventure R.C Church in Paterson NJ. She was also active in St. Bonaventure's Home School Association. She was a homemaker and a expert chef. Her passions included cooking,travel and ceramics, but her family was her true pride and joy. Mrs Fischetti is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, and her four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughters Phyllis and her husband Joseph DiLuccia of Budd Lake , NJ, Michelle and her husband Robert Kelsitz of Ship Bottom, NJ, Barbara and her husband William Cervino of Basking Ridge, NJ , and her son Michael Fischetti and his wife Grace of Phillipsburg, NJ. In addition she is survived by her grandchildren Angela and her husband Matthew Arenella, Daniel DiLuccia and his wife Janelle,Lindsay Kelesitz, Mark Klesitz, Alysa Fischetti, Shane Fischetti, and Michael Cervino. She was also great-grandmother to Siena and Giada Arenella, and Anna DiLuccia. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101, South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge NJ, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ, 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery and mausoluem on 52 Totowa road, Totowa , NJ 07512.
