Rachel was a very vibrant and charming woman, who loved music, family and life. We were blessed to have known her and John for many years following her daughter Lilli's marriage to my brother Paul. We were in her company at many family events at Paul and Lilli's home in Basking Ridge, and were privileged to see her and John interact with their children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. One especially poignant memory is captured on video. It is at the Giangreco home, the afternoon after the baptism of Karen Agnes, and Rachel and John are holding the new baby in her christening dress, singing a beautiful song to Karen in Danish. The moment was priceless, and is a very special way to remember both of them.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
