Obituary of Janet Hays Lund

Janet Hays Lund, 104, passed away peacefully surround by loved ones on June 29th 2010. She resided in Basking Ridge since 1972, previously coming from N. Plainfield. She received a BA at Clark University in MA, and received her Master's from Rutgers University. Janet was the principal of Middlesex County Vocational School in Woodbridge, NJ for 27 years. She was a member of St. Bernards Church in Bernardsville, upon retirement she continued to be active in many professional organizations Janet is survived by her daughter Ellen Mofsowitz and son-in-law Stanley of Basking Ridge, Grandchildren Richard Klumb and wife Rita of Dallas, TX, Susan Klumb of Philadelphia, PA, Carrie Levine, Woodbridge, CT and Erika Mofsowitz of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by great grandchildren Olivia, Jill, Rachel, & Collin. Janet was predeceased by her husband the late Carl C. Lund. A funeral service was held on July 1st 2010 at St. Bernards Church in Bernardsville, NJ.
