Clearly one from the "greatest generation" : never complained, worked so hard, help others, cared about his country, his neighborhood and enjoyed the company of family and friends!

Joe was a dedicated family man and respected craftsman who could build or fix anything. He was generous with his time and skills and never hesitated to assist anyone who asked for his help. A really nice guy who will be missed by all!

I'm miss your stuffed artichokes and your stories of how you went to three fruit stores to buy them. Say hi to Anniebird, don't fight with Nanna, and try not to pull Freddie's tail too often.

Pop pop may you rest peacefully with Nanny. Your generosity, kindness, and great sense of humor will be missed. I will never forget the times we used to sit out on the stoop all together as a family. We always looked forward to Sunday dinners in Astoria. Justin, Tara, and I are proud to be your grandchildren. Thank you for always looking after us.
