Obituary of Robert Donald Williams

Robert D. Williams Died on May, 29, 2014 at the age of 95. He lived at Fellowship Village in the liberty corner section of Bernards Township since 1996. He was employed as Office Manager for over 40 years for Joesph Dobbs, Inc., of Basking Ridge and for H.W. Alward, Inc in Bernardsville. He served in the Army for a total of three and half years during World War II and ended up with the 815th Aviation Engineers. He was a life member of VFW Post 7858 of Bernardsville and served as a Commander, Adjutant and Quartermaster of the Post. While at Fellowship Village he was a dedicated volunteer. He was a member of the baseball team " The Brookside Bombers", and played in the Morris/Somerset League for many years. While living in Bernardsville, He was Manager of a junior league baseball team for several years. He was also a member of the Brookside volunteer fire company and the Bernardsville fire company for many years. He was Predeceased by his wife of nearly 65 years, Helene M. Williams. He is survived by his son Don and his wife Geri, of Plymouth, MA, and his three Daughters Nancy Williams of Basking Ridge, Barbara Coccia and her husband John, and Amy Willams and her husband Tom Todd of Denver CO. He is also servived by Four grandchildren, Scott Williams, Kristin Fiori, Laura Sanders and Jennifer Basler and Four great grandchildern, Matteo and Salena Fiori, and Zoe and Bodie Williams The Burial took place on Saturday May 31st at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge NJ 07920
