Obituary of Charles J Harcourt

Charles "Chuck" Harcourt, 51, of the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township, died at his home on Friday, May 30, 2014. Mr. Harcourt was very active in all the sports programs in Basking Ridge, and was a founder of Ridge Youth Sports. He was born in Westfield, where he spent his early years. He was a 1980 graduate of Westfield High School, and was graduated from the University of Southern Colorado. He earned his Series 7 license, and was a vice president and municipal bond underwriter at Morgan Stanley in New York City and in Purchase, N.Y. Mr. Harcourt was a survivor of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks. He is survived by his beloved wife, Danielle; his four children, Kelsey, 20, Kyle, 18, Kevin, 13, and Karson, 11; his mother, Mary, of Westfield; his brother, Bill, of Fanwood and his sister, Kathy, Bellante of Cranford; and a large and loving extended family.
