Obituary of Veronica C Oranchak

Veronica C. (Ronnie) Oranchak, 88, of Basking Ridge, N.J., passed away peacefully on February 14, 2014 surrounded by her family. Veronica was born in Newark N.J. on July 2, 1925 . She lived in Vailsburg and graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School. Before moving to Basking Ridge in 1962, she resided in Pompton Plains. Veronica was a gifted seamstress who enjoyed fishing and taking walks on the beach. She delighted in going to church every Sunday morning. Veronica was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Oranchak in 1975 and her daughter Kathleen Reed in 2009. She is survived by her sister Mary Brady of Florida, son Mark Oranchak of Basking Ridge, her daughters Colleen Esposito and husband John of Long Valley N.J., Barbara Thompson of Flanders, N.J., Janice Camelotto and husband Peter of Chatham, N.J. and son-in-law Mark Reed of Long Valley, N.J.. She was the cherished grandmother of David Reed, Catherine and Jessica Esposito, Michael and Christine Thompson, Lauren, Michelle and Rachel Camelotto. Celebration of her life will be held on Friday , February 21, 2014 from 6 to 8pm at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finely Avenue, Basking Ridge, N.J. 07920. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:30am at Covenant Chapel Reformed Episcopal Church, 127 West Oak Street, Basking Ridge, N.J. 07920.
