I only knew Patrick through the Basking Ridge paddle tennis circuit. He introduced me and many others to a game he loved and spread that love to the rest of us. He was a good, patient teacher of the game and I'm sure those qualities carried over to all other aspects of his life. He will be sorely missed at Pleasant Valley and elsewhere.

Patrick will be so missed by many. Such a great sense of humor, and generous spirit. We'll always remember the fun stories of the Adventure Guides escapades with Patrick, PJ and the other fathers and sons, and have great memories of the family ski trips he used to run with Sue; first for the Adventure Guides families, and then grew to include half of Basking Ridge. Patrick had that way about him. Thoughts and prayers to Sue, PJ and Shannon. With condolences, the Mooney Family

Patrick was just a great guy. Worked with him in the financial services industry for the past 15 years or so. He was a true professional, but slso brought some levity into a business that often lacks it. We will certainly miss him more than I can put in words.

My condolences to the entire Tuohy family. Patrick always spoke proudly of Susan, Shannon, and PJ, as well as his parents and siblings. He was proud to be a Tuohy. When I think of Patrick I’m reminded of the Irish Blessing: May your home always be too small to hold all of your friends. He had many friends, and added to our time on this earth. I will miss the stories of him growing up in Brooklyn, and his great jokes. He was one of a kind. God Bless you Patrick!

First, my deepest and most genuine condolences to Patrick's family. I met Patrick at an investment conference this past September and we instantly hit it off. We spent the entire conference making each other laugh hysterically. He won that competition handily but I was proud to hear people comment that they loved our schtick and thought I was able to hold my own with Patrick - that was high praise. Patrick also took enough of an interest in me to help connect me to influential people during and after the conference, because he just wanted to help me. There was nothing in it for him, and that to me brought depth and selflessness to a man who I already knew had an unparalleled personality and sense of humor. What an incredible and hard to find combination, and despite our short relationship, I will never forget you, Patrick! From what I could tell and from what I have read from other people's comments, your years of life were lived to the fullest and should be celebrated.

Wish we could some how find a way to ease the pain the Tuohy family is facing. I knew Patrick for almost 20 years. We almost ended up working together on a couple of occassions. In the end, we were simply friends and competitors. Not many people could be a competitor and a friend at the same time, but it was an easy task for Patrick. Everyone was his friend. His capacity to engage people is what I will never forget. I will long remember Patrick and do my best to carry his "friendship" torch.

Patrick was certainly one of a kind and all these wonderful tributes say so much about who he was to so many. Life will never be quite the same without him for he truly was one of the most dynamic individuals we had ever known. Kevin met Pat at Baruch College and there developed a very special friendship. Close to our hearts for so many years, Patrick was the best man at our wedding some 28 years ago. He was an incredibly bright light in our lives. It's easy to see how his charming, charismatic personality drew him to you. There are not enough words to describe his good nature.
Patrick, you left us far too soon. We are so grateful for the many wonderful, now cherished, memories. Until we meet again, know that you are with us everyday and that we love you dearly.
