Obituary of George John Adik

George J Adik, 76, of Bernardsville, NJ passed away on Saturday January 11, 2014 at his home. Born and raised in Elizabeth, George moved to Hillside before settling in Bernardsville where he has resided for the past 40 years. George had the ability to take beautiful bridal photographs even under traumatic circumstances which is why he was in demand by the local studios in Union County. He was a great “daddy “ to his two cats Sherlock and Tommy and they were a great comfort to him as his illness took hold of him. George is survived by his loving wife of 47 year Joan who he married on his birthday in 1966. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Thursday January 16, at 11am at the Church of St. James, 184 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge followed by burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge.
