Obituary of Mary C Gale

Mary C. Gale Mary C. Gale, 85, of Basking Ridge passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 at home with her family. Mary was born November 25, 1928 in Syracuse, N.Y.; she was the daughter of the late Russell Kiggins and Catherine Lavelle Kiggins. She and her husband, Robert W. Gale, enjoyed 61 years of a blessed marriage. She will be remembered for her strong love for God, her family, friends, bridge games, trips to Atlantic City, and Syracuse University basketball games. She was a member of St. James Church in Basking Ridge, where she was an active participant in numerous parish organizations. In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her loving children; Tim of Bloomsbury NJ; Judy and husband Paul of North Plainfield NJ; Betsy and husband Robert of Bridgewater NJ; Tom and wife Kristin of Racine WI; John and wife Lisa of Murrieta, CA; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Mary and granddaughter Emma. A Liturgy of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 23 at 10:00 AM at The Church of St. James, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Sunday, December 22 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Mary’s name to St. Joseph’s Shrine, Warren NJ, or Liberty Corner First Aid Squad, Inc.
