Obituary of Mary Louise Pamula

Mary Lou Pamula, 86, passed away February, 10, 2013. She was born and raised in the Vailsberg neighborhood of Newark, later moved to Elizabeth before settling in Basking Ridge in 1979. Mary Lou graduated from St. Vincent Academy in 1945. She worked as a Ward Secretary for the Lyons VA Hospital for 15 years. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family, reading, and loved to go out to dinner. She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and nana. Mary Lou Pamula is predeceased by her husband Edward in 1988, and her son John in 2012. She is survived by her 3 children, Lisa Pamula of Basking Ridge, Renee Mele and husband Michael of Bethlehem, PA, Nancy Weber and husband Bret of Felton, DE. 10 grandchildren, Matthew Torelli, Marissa, Michael "Mikey", Brandon, Brennan, Blake, Charles, Harrison, William, Kathryn. Also, survived by her daughter in law Tracy, and her sister Alice Ann Kicki and Husband Edward of Middlesex, NJ. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be on Thurs, Feb. 14, 2013, 10:30am at The Church of St. James, 184 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge on Wed, Feb. 13, 2013 from 2- 4 & 6 - 8pm.
