Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your son, Charles whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant him light, happiness, and peace. Let him pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard him from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise him up with all Your saints. Pardon his sins and give him eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Though I never had the privilege to know you in this life, it is obvious that you were so amazingly loved and I hope you are listening to the angels sing as I write this..*smile I lost my Father last year and loss is always painful for the loving family left behind, but for you there is no more pain, no more tears, only true beauty and happiness now.

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.

I just want to leave my prayers for the family of Charles. I didnt know him personally but I met his daughter online and she was really kind to me at a rough time in my life. Seeing her kindness I know that her father must have been a really special man to have raised such a thoughful and kind daughter. May God keep you in his arms Charles. You are deeply loved and missed by Lydia.

Death is not the end of life but the beginning of a new one. May you find solitude in our loving Father's arms and may your family find peace in their hearts knowing you are happy and loved.

For Lydia: I know the pain of losing a father; I lost mine when he was 82 years old. I found a saying on a card which read, don't be sad because my life is gone, be happy because we lived the best life we could.
Think those thoughts and I hope memories become much easier for you.
