Obituary of Mary Lynne Norris

Mary Lynne Norris of Basking Ridge died peacefully in her sleep on January 1st at Sunrise Senior living.

She was born on February 13, 1943, at Overlook Hospital, Summit, New Jersey to Martha and Doug Lewis. Mary Lynne grew up in Summit, New Jersey with her two sisters, Leslie and Gretchen.

After high school Mary Lynne attended and graduated from Boston University. After graduation, she got married and had two sons Brad and Tim.

Mary Lynn enjoyed music and the Jersey shore. She had a love for flowers and became a master gardener.

Mary Lynn was kind to all people- family, friends, or strangers. She was always willing to help anyone with anything.

She is survived by her sons, Brad and his wife, Christina and Tim and his wife Tracy.

She’s also survived by six grandchildren, Conner, Chloey, Luke, Brianna, Brayden and Dalton.

Mary’s family would like to thank all the true friends who have stayed in touch with her throughout the years and all of the staff Sunrise Senior living.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
