Al and Wynnie became special friends to us during our time at Stonecrest. Their love for each other was readily apparent. After Wynnie passed we always sat with Al. When we were away he would call to check up on us. We loved to talk golf and football with him. Even after we moved away he would call to check in and see how things we going. We will miss his calls, but know he's happy to be reunited with his precious Wynnie and his beloved Savior.
Al was a favorite member at Basking Ridge Country Club. I loved to see him and his buddy Malcolm tee it up early in the morning and especially loved when he would bring cookies to all of us upstairs in the office. Always with a pleasant smile and deep appreciation for everyone, Al simply made everyone feel good. Fortunate are those that can say Al Malnak was my friend. Count me as fortunate.
