We have known Bob Pollock for 60 years, and his wife Teddy for even a little longer. We have more memories than anyone would want to read though. But let us say we experienced his 'boating' life on Staten Island and in various places in New Jersey, we shared a harrowing airplane ride out of and back to Linden airport, we visited them when they were residing in Virginia, we went back and forth to each others' houses for dinner parties and the like. We sat with him to listen to Teddy play the organ. We also served as "hired hands" at a spectacular "Wetting Down" party for his final naval promotion. In fact, we even made wine together in the early 1970's; we called it Chateau deux Roberts and you WOULD NOT WANT TO DRINK IT!
We miss them both.

It was a pleasure to get to know Bob. I enjoyed his voice, his enthusiasm for life, his interest in fixing things. His dedication to his to keeping things neat and tidy especially with regard to boats. Oh how he loved being on the water.
I was happy to crew for him when able, we spend the day sailing across the Raritan Bay, such beautiful memories.
He was a wonder dedicated choir member at Liberty Corner Presbyterian. He will be missed,

It's with a heavy heart that I send the family my deepest and sincere condolences. I'll forever remember happy days on his sailboat and at Chimney Rock, that they had been going to for years, both of which were his life, as was Teddy.
It was a pleasure and a comfort to hear him sing especially sea chanties with Andy and me.
There will be 2 holes in the choir, that's for sure.
They both cherished their family and friends very much!
Rest well sailor.
Miss you both

Mr Pollack was a great man. He gave this Pennsylvania boy his sea legs with a weekend sailing trip that will forever be in my favorite memories. Fair winds and following seas. Rest in peace Captain.
