Obituary of Judit Koletar
Judit Koletar, 73, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on Sunday December 2, 2012 at the Center for Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains, NJ.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Judit moved to Maplewood, NJ in 1959 after the Hungarian Revolution. She lived in Maplewood for 9 years before moving to Summit and then finally to Basking Ridge in 1988.
She graduated from Seton Hall University in 1974 with her bachelor's degree.
Judit worked at Sandoz Pharmacutical Company in East Hanover, NJ as a research Chemist for 33 years before retiring in 1996.
She was a member of the American Chemical Society and a communicant at St James Church.
Judit is survived by her two brothers Tamas Koletar, of Hungary, Gabor Koletar, of Berkeley Heights, NJ, her two sisters, Ida Eckert, Mountianside, NJ, Cecilia Kovacs, of Charlotte, NC as well as four nephews and two nieces.
A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Thursday December 6, 2012 at 12pm at the St James Church, 184 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 4-7pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ.
