Obituary of William C Ruffle

Ruffle, William C. January 31, 1956 - November 17, 2012 Beloved husband and father, William Courtney Ruffle, 56, died on November 17, 2012. He was raised in Ridgewood, making his home in Basking Ridge for 21 years. He earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. Bill is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rev. Diane Ruffle of Basking Ridge; his daughter, Dr. Lisa Ruffle and his son, Christopher Ruffle, senior at the College of Charleston; his mother, Catherine VanWyngaarden and sister Jane Ruffle, along with his aunt, Mary Ulrich and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde C. Ruffle. He was the Engineering and Resource Manager of PSE&G's Southern Electric Division, having held various management positions during his long and successful career. He was involved in community and civic organizations while in Basking Ridge. Visitation is from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Friday, November 23rd at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge. A funeral service, followed by reception, will be held at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church, 1 East Oak Street, Basking Ridge, on Saturday, November 24th. Interment is private. Gifts may be made in Bill's memory to the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church.
