Obituary of Eugene Koch

Eugene Koch, 91, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey passed away peacefully at his home on September 27, 2023 after a long battle of Ankylosing Spondylitis. Eugene was born on May 5, 1932 and grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey where he graduated from Columbia high School. He later attended Colorado School of Mines and graduated in 1954 with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering.  After graduating from college, he joined the Army and served in post-war Germany. Eugene was a devoted husband and father and served as Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout troop 555. In his spare time, he enjoyed travelling and gardening. 

Eugene was predeceased by his son Gregory Koch and survived by his wife Marilyn Koch; son Dr. Douglas Koch and his husband Dr. Javier Dominguez of Upper Darby, PA; and daughter-in-law Bonnie Koch and grandson Lawrence Koch of Bridgewater, NJ.
