Obituary of Christopher Marafiote

Christopher Marafiote Jr., 53, of Bernardsville, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2023.

Chris was born in Paterson to Christopher Marafiote Sr. and the late Beverly Laskowski of Saddle Brook.

On October 12, 2002, he married Michele (Broccoli) Marafiote, with whom he shared 21 loving years.

Chris and his wife own Elite Taxi and Limousine of Bernardsville. He had immeasurable love for his son and his wife. He especially cherished many memories in upstate N.Y. and traveling on vacations with the Broccoli family.

Chris is survived by his wife, Michele (Broccoli) Marafiote, and son, Michael James Marafiote; his sister, Regina (Marafiote), and brother-in-law, Frank Barrale, of Saddle Brook; his father-in-law, Frank Broccoli, of Marcy, N.Y., with whom he had a very special relationship; sister-in-law, Renee Broccoli, of Bernardsville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marc and Amy Broccoli, of West Deptford; and his niece and nephews, Nina and Nicholas Barrale, and Marco and Nicolas Broccoli. He had many loving great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Laskowski, and mother-in-law, Francine (Tomaino) Broccoli.

A Memorial Mass will be held on August 12th 10:00am at Our lady of Perpetual Help Church, 111 Seney Drive, Bernardsville, NJ.
