Over the years you became my friend, my family and my favorite teacher. I certainly am proud to be on the long list of people who consider you their favorite teacher! Dear Evelyn and Peter, I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother. May God rest her soul, and may her Memory be Eternal! Your Mother was a terrific teacher! She was our Greek school teacher from 1st to 6th Grade, and she taught me and my brother the Greek alphabet and how to read and write in Greek. She also taught Greek History and other topics, including the New Testament. She was such an excellent teacher, because she was patient with us, and she pronounced words very clearly. She was also very skilled in story telling, which she incorporated into her lessons. The basic Greek reading and writing that I learned from your Mother many, many years ago has been invaluable to me to this day! I've kept all the diplomas I received from her when I was her student. They remind me of your Mother and how blessed I was to have her as my Greek teacher. Thank you, Kupia Mina, for your wonderful gift of teaching!

Evelyn & Peter I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. When she came to teach at St. D's I was a young girl and was so enamored with Mina and still am until this day. I wanted to be just like her, beautiful, smart, kind, understanding and loving. As her children you may have seen her otherwise at times but be Proud of the Woman She was. I will never forget her and hear her whispering in my ear, giving me confidence to speak our language & Culture. Thank you Mina for being a Mentor to ME!
