Obituary of Johanna Mary Garubo

Johanna Garubo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away at home on Wednesday October 10. Born in Newark, she worked as devoted elementary school teacher for more than 30 years, winning the "outstanding educator award" at Our Lady of Peace School in New Providence in 1994. She loved golf, cooking, enjoying the Jersey Shore, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Philip, children Angelo, Philip Jr., and Gertrude, and five grandchildren. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 10am at the St James Church 184 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, followed by burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
