Obituary of Regina Anne Iannone

 Devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Regina Iannone, 93, of Basking Ridge, N.J., passed away peacefully, March 22, 2023, with her family by her side. Jeanne (as she was known to her family and friends) was born in 1929 and raised in Newark, the daughter of Francis and Julia (nee Keelen) Bergen. Jeanne graduated from Benedictine Academy in 1946 and attended Camp Tegawitha where she enjoyed swimming as well as playing basketball. She was employed from 1946-1995 as an Inventory Supervisor for NJ Bell. She married her love, Ray, in 1952, and they were together for 64 years. Prior to moving to Basking Ridge in 1976, they resided in West Orange.

She was pre-deceased by her late husband, Ray, parents, Francis and Julia Bergen and her sister, Mary. She is survived by her three loving and caring sons and their wives whom she thought of as daughters, David and Cynthia from Virginia, Daniel and Sharon from Bernardsville, N.J., and John and Christine from Berkeley Heights, N.J. She is the proud grandmother of Megan, Matthew, Julianne, John Patrick, Jr., Anthony, and Christopher and great-grandmother to McKayla, Callie, Ella, Victoria, Emily, Max, Georgia and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of her great-grandson, John Patrick, III. She is also survived by her loving sister, Patty Bergen Cray and her dear friend, Kathy Lucy.
