Obituary of David T King

David T King, 70, of Millington, NJ passed away on Sunday September 16, 2012 at the Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. Born in Lexington Mass he has resided in Millington, NJ for the past 45 years. David proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1963-1965 He was the owner of PA-VE food services where he served the Morris County Park Commission. David was a loving family man to his children and especially to his grandchildren. He was the past president of the Jaycee's and State Senator. He loved to travel and enjoyed fixing things. He was pre deceased by his loving wife of 41 years Patricia Badgley King in 2005 and his brother Robert. Surviving are his children Bill and his wife Traci, daughters Jeri Anne Brescia, and Tami and Jason Stucker, 9 grandchildren Gabi, DJ, Cassi, Mackenzi, Spencer, Tom, Ryan, Ali, and Kailyn, his brother Russell and his sister Marylin. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Thursday September 20, 2012 at 11am at the St. Vincent DePaul Church, 250 Bebout Ave, Stirling, NJ. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Wednesday September 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ.
