Obituary of Stanley Karczynski

Stanley Casimir Karczynski, 73, of Bernardsville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday July 27, 2022. 

 Stanley was born in Poland to parents Walter and Paulina on July 12, 1949, and later moved to the United States at age 9.

He attended Linden High School and graduated in 1969. Stanley was a self-made man founding SK Realty & Development at the age of 22 in his parent’s basement going on to build and manage several million square feet of commercial real estate.

Stanley met his devoted and loving wife Dianne in 1971, their courtship continued for 12 years before their marriage; they have been happily married for 39 years and have two sons. Stanley lived for his family, especially his grandchildren, Mikey and Walter (Waju). He enjoyed fishing, day trading stocks and spending time in his Palm Beach condo. He had a tremendous work ethic and endless energy. He was loving, honest and generous; a trusted friend, confidant, and advisor to many. He will be greatly missed by those who had the opportunity to have known him.

Stanley is survived by his wife Dianne of Bernardsville, NJ, sons Michael and daughter in law Danielle of Fair Haven, NJ, and Daniel of Middletown, NJ and grandchildren Michael and Walter. He is also survived by his sister Krystina Malamud of Sunny Isles, FL. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Paulina. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 31, 2022 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. A funeral service will take place on Monday August 1, 2022 10:00am at the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1 East Oak Street, Basking Ridge, NJ, followed by a committal service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ.
