Obituary of Thomas A. Miesner

Thomas A. Miesner, 61, of Basking Ridge NJ, passed away on Sunday May 22, 2022 in Morristown NJ.

Funeral service will be held at St James Church on Friday, May 27, 2022  at 10:00 am with Father Zannetti of St James Church officiating. A private burial will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park at 95 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge NJ 07920. Gallaway and Crane will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Tom was born in Brooklyn NY to Vincent and Eleanor Miesner on December 29, 1960. He went to high school at St Francis Prep in Queens NY and graduated in 1978. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Pratt University. He earned his pilot's license in 1979 from Farmingdale University.  He worked as a computer salesman for many years eventually starting his own company before retiring in 2018. He battled Multiple Sclerosis for 23 years with Strength and Dignity. He enjoyed watching the Giants play (when they won), listening to music, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a wonderful husband and loving father and admired by so many.

Tom is survived by his wife Vivian Miesner. His children, Alex Miesner, Sarah Miesner and Adam Miesner.  He is preceded in death by his parents Eleanor and Vincent Miesner.
