No words can take away from the profound loss everyone feels in Rich's passing. I pray that these humble words will bring some solace to all those that mourn him.
The husband, father, son and colleague, Rich Hegeman, was the embodiment of kindness and grace. He touched the lives of many through his concern for others, his zen-like and inquisitive nature, his contagious laugh and his smart sense of humor. He was a source of strength for some, a mentor for others, a friend to all and a mercy to those who needed him most.
May God reward him with all that heaven has to offer for all that he's given to us on earth.
