I was in 5th and 6th grades with Mark. We were 20 kids in our class, so many who accomplished so much. I’m thrilled to see that Mark accomplished so much and contributed so much to society. I’m so very sorry for his early passing.

What a loss, for which I have no words, only the happy memories of a splendid colleague and cherished friend of four decades. Rest in peace Mark, you've left us far too soon. I will remember you always.

Dear Cozin family, my most sincere condolences
As an adjunct sociologist that started at RVCC in 2013, Mark was my supervisor and mentor. I learned so much from him about teaching sociology and teaching at RVCC. I appreciated all his advice. I admired his work in DV, a shared passion of mine. He will be missed and his presences made us better.

I had Professor Cozin for Sociology at RVCC in the early 2000s. I loved his class. We read and discussed a book that I reference to this day. He was so funny too. I remember he used to bring coffee and donuts for us. My sincere condolences to Professor Cozin’s family.

I haven’t seen Mark for over 60 years. I was the 3rd basemen on a great Little League team . On Temple Menorah Mark was a superb shortstop and a dandy pitcher. When he returned from the mound his Dad ( not sure of his name perhaps Ben) would have Mark put on his jacket and rub up his pitching arm. His Dad always had a cigar and often offered them to other Dad’s. In school he always concentrated and was a serious student who excelled in wherever he put his energy. My heart goes out to all who loved him and glad that he experienced the great outdoors before passing to the other side. I am with you in your grief. My name is Kimberly and I was a friend and colleague of Mark’s since 2004 at RVCC. I am so sorry Mark had to leave this earthly realm so soon. Mark taught me so much through our time at RVCC together and I am grateful for his influence on my career and life. He will never be forgotten and will always be remembered by me as a kind and gentle soul with so much love for his students and friends at RVCC.
