Mr. Mich was a tremendously positive influence in my life. He helped instill confidence in me as a young boy when I needed it most and I still quote his inspiring words to this day ... We were champions together and I will always appreciate all he did for me as a coach, mentor and role model. I have shared some snapshots from Little League... hugging Corky Kay after winning the title, handshaking with me after the Championship win, a candid coaching shot and of course the game ball he and Coach K gave me after the game 2 win, which will always mean the world to me! God Bless and thank you so very much!

Big George was a class act and was always welcoming. I distinctly remember his love of chicken wings! He will be missed. Much love to all the Michinard’s.

I can only smile when I think of George! George was one of those rare human beings that really cared when he asked, how are you?” All of the Jablonski’s were blessed to be a part of the Michinard family and will treasure our memories, as we continue to make new ones!

Was saddened to learn albeit a bit belatedly of George’s passing. My first fond memories of George commenced to compile during the great times we spent together as friendly rivals during the
days we spent coaching and watching together our sons play little league baseball . I surmised about this time that George’s cheerful personality would cause him to come to rank high on my list of most likable people I’d be blessed to call friend during my life. Many times while at St. James or at the local supermarkets
George and I would pause to chat and recount our respective blessings, one of them being the moments in time we were blessed to have shared together. George acting in his capacity as a St. James usher with a smile always saw to it that My spouse Joan and I upon our arrival at church were both cheerfully greeted and seated. Both Joan and I considered him to be a great and cheerful friend.
We will miss him dearly and will keep him , and you Betty and your family in our prayers while you all deal with the temporary discomforts and sorrow associated with George’s Earthly passing on to reside with His and our God . I’m certain we’ll come to see George again and that He will be forever pleasantly then guiding us to our seat in Heaven’s Cathedral. Until then we we will have one more star to guide us while here on Earth , one lit by George’s love.
