Obituary of Nada Raiser
Nada Raiser unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, February 26th surrounded by her loved ones.
Nada was born in Morristown, New Jersey, to parents Anthony and Rita Kosminsky. Nada started her undergraduate degree at Radford University and completed it at Montclair State University. She obtained her Master’s degree at Rutgers University. She went on to be a highly respected expert in outpatient wound care/hyperbaric centers operations, and managed multiple successful centers in the tri-state area.
Nada lived in her beloved English Tudor home in Liberty Corner, NJ, and is survived by her husband, Thomas Raiser, her son, Nicholas Raiser, daughter-in-law, Kathryn Raiser, daughter, Katerina Raiser, stepdaughter, Maria Raiser-Spek, son-in-law, Alek Spek, and stepson, Christopher Raiser.
Nada was loved by many and used her talents to create costumes for local theaters, and host renowned parties with her most famous being the annual Raiser “After Holiday Holiday Party.” When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed fishing with her family on their boat, wine tasting classes, traveling the world, and testing recipes with her loyal sous chef Beowulf.
Nada was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Rita Kosminsky, and her furry children: Beauregard, Bailey, Freddy, Maxine, Micky, Porsche, and Phoebe.
Nada’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 3rd, at 10am with a funeral mass at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Repast at Riley and Jake’s Restaurant in Clinton, NJ. All are welcome.
