Obituary of Ellen T Hill

Ellen T. Hill, 86, of Long Valley passed away at Hackettstown Medical Center on Jan 11 after a brief illness. Born in Morristown, Ellen resided in Bernardsville prior to moving to Long Valley 20 years ago. Ellen owned and operated Ellen’s Luncheonette in Peapack-Gladstone for many years. Ellen was happiest when surrounded by her family whether she was cooking a large meal for them or being with them at the beach, she loved every moment. She was blessed with 11 grand children and 23 great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Marilyn (William) Masaitis, Long Valley, Wayne (Cris) Hill, Long Valley, and Cindy (Pat) Riley, Bernardsville. She was predeceased by her loving husband Harry “Bunker Hill and daughter Debbie Wilson. A visitation will be held on Jan. 17th from 4-7pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge. A funeral service will be held on Jan 18th at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral home at 11:00am. MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO WORN BY ALL WHILE IN THE FUNERAL HOME.
