Obituary of Robert Bierbower

Robert Gibson Bierbower passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 98. He was born in Richmond Hill, NY on January 31, 1923. Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend Mary Louise Bierbower (nee McCarthy). They moved to Bernardsville, NJ to raise their family and lived there for over 50 years. Robert was above all passionate and proud of his family of seven children and their spouses, his 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Robert graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked at Allied Chemical in Morristown as a manager for 45 years until his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II where he received several medals for distinguished service. Robert was a quiet and kind gentleman holding the highest integrity in business and in family life. He enjoyed playing golf, playing his harmonica and was an astute reader. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
