Obituary of Edalin Deally

Edalin Deally passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2021 at the age of 76 years young. Edalin is survived by her three children: her eldest son, Andrew, and his wife, Regina; her daughter, Angela, and her youngest son, Oswin, and his wife Laurie-- along with her beloved grandchildren- Emily, Rebecca, Daniel, Zachary, Olivia and Edison. Edalin Deally was born on June 11,1945 in Stanleytown, Guyana and was married for 20 years to Dhanesh Deally (passed in 1986). Edalin was an accomplished technical designer for many high-end fashion houses and, even after retirement, continued the profession she loved on a freelance basis. There is no single word to adequately describe who Edalin was. She was elegant, graceful, vibrant, an unrivaled cook, fun-loving, determined, strong, and the very root of our family tree. She will, every day, be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, an endless community of cousins and their extended families, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. We are forever grateful that we now have an angel watching over us. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm. Cremation Services will be private for the family.
