Howie My Bother My Friend-I have many memories of Howie especially our great talks over the telephone mostly about his love of family. When we were young and he would milk the cow-the flies would land on his body. I had to be the fly swatted and shoo the flies away. When we went sledding on the Golf Course I sat behind him on the sled, down we went and I flew off , he had to come and pick me up. I ironed his shirts making sure there was a crease and then he would roll his sleeves up anyway. When he was married he would say I have to go home to see my Bride, his beautiful bride Doris. They’re in each other’s arms now. Love him so much. Love Alma

Debbie, Charlotte, George, James and Families-Words cannot express the sorrow in our hearts at the loss of Uncle Howie. In remembrance of Uncle Howie
God took the sturdiness of an old oak tree, The calm of a winter’s night, The greatness of land and sea, The tenderness of a bird in flight, The warmth of the noon day sun, The strength of a galing wind, The majesty of a mountain, The triumph of love over sin. The dreams and the hopes , The courage of all mankind The flexibility to cope, The patience of time, God took these things and all the wonders that He had and molded his creation and simply called it DAD. With Love, Susan and Ted

Uncle Howie will be missed! I have many fun memories of him and Aunt Doris...family picnics, holidays and birthday parties at Damie’s and my wedding. I know he and Aunt Doris are together looking down on the rest of us... both with their sweet smiles.

When I first met Uncle Howie, at the fishing rodeo that James had; he was very nice. And he introduced me to some extended family. He shared some of his childhood stories about fishing with me. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of me and Uncle Howie together but here was a picture of me practicing my casting skills for the fishing rodeo. He will be missed! At first I felt sadness. Then I felt his spirt lives on. I felt in my heart uncle Howie is in the right place .My great memories of my uncle will always be with me. Thank you uncle Howie for being there for as long as I can remember. Spending time with you training dogs, field trials, spending the night at your house, giving me time to enjoy Howsie, and George! We did so much! You will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing with me the love I feel. You always could tell a GREAT STORY!
I love you,
Graham
