Obituary of George L Millner

George L. Millner, 79, passed away September 24, 2020. He was an army veteran. He served in the Maplewood fire department for over 25 years, retiring as Captain. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Josephine. He is predeceased in death by his oldest daughter Debra, survived by his daughters, Lori (husband Phil and granddaughters Jessica and Jennifer), Diane (husband Jimmy and grandsons Jake and Max), and Debra's children Austin and Alyssa. He loved being with family, taking rides in his antique car with his wife, gardening, and watching his grandson, Jake play baseball. He will be deeply missed. A mass will be held at Our Lady of the Mount church in Warren, NJ October 1, 2020 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover NJ. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the leukemia society.
