Obituary of Maryann Rega

Maryann K. (McGrory) Rega, 81, of Bernardsville, NJ passed away on June 29, 2020. Maryann was born on November 26, 1938 in the Bronx, NY, grew up in Liberty Corner, NJ before settling in Bernardsville. Maryann is survived by her loving husband Joseph Rega of 41 years. Her daughter Danyelle Jacquis of Piscataway, NJ. Her three stepsons Joseph Rega and wife Yasmin of Tewksbury, NJ, Randy and wife Tami of Bridgewater, NJ, Ray and wife Johanna of Califon, NJ, Her Eight grandchildren, Corie, Joey, Kolbi, Bianca, Jason, Raymond, Kristopher, and Jordan, Three great grandchildren, Ryan, Luke, and Emma, and 1 on the way. Also, survived by her sister Patricia Kickenweitz and husband Robert, her brother Daniel McGrory and wife Darlene, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her two brothers William in 1951 and Thomas in 1989 She worked as a school crossing guard for Bernards Twp. for 29 years. She also loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bernardsville, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101. S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07920. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
