I want to extend my condolences to the Seeley Family and Friends.
I got to know Bob when we both worked for AT&T Long Lines at Philadelphia in the mid-‘70’s. Bob was the Philadelphia District Operations Manager there and I was a National Account Manager in the Sales office. We also both were taking night classes at the Rutgers Camden campus and we had a couple of classes together. I remember him as a very smart student and with a great sense of humor and that great smile. I always enjoyed going to class with him and any time our paths would cross at work in later years.
He was a fine gentleman, well thought of by his peers, bosses and his people. I thought of him as a good friend during those years.
May he rest in peace.

Oh. So sad to hear this news. Cajun Bob was a special friend. Always in a great mood bringing joy to our group at Cajun Fest and Gettysburg Bluegrass fest. His Low hassle factor quests inspire Ken and I today. Hope you are dancing in heaven now Bob.

I met him as Rooney Bob and later learned of others calling him Festival Bob. His reach is as BROAD across the music community as it is DEEP in the hearts he has touched. At festivals, his chair always front and center of the music stage... a fest schedule stowed under a wee glass table top. Handy! and classy in a cow field. No one else does that. I will forever cherish dancing and laughing with Rooney Bob.

Condolences to all family members and friends. A great guy with a love of life and a wicked sense of humor. My favorite memory is the first time I met him and realized we had been pulling the same types of pranks over the years at bluegrass festivals. He liked my version of the fake telephone trick [before cell phones] and I loved his trick water pipe that held only enough water for him to fill a glass that he would drink while enjoying watching other campers who saw him fill it try and try to get water out of that empty pipe. He always brightened up our days. We'll meet you at happy hour, Bob.

From Don and Claire Kissil: Bluegrass and Cajun friends of Bob and Nancy. We remember that Bob was a fan of our high school daughter who D.J.'d a high school radio Bluegrass show and even though Bob was an adult, he was an avid listener and supporter of our daughter's Bluegrass work. May it always be 5:00 o'clock for Bob Seeley. Also we thankfully remember his kind donation of many loads of fireplace wood from his property whenever we ran out. We will always have a warm place in our hearts for "Rooney Bob".

Bob was one of my favorite people in my life. He was the 'Official Hugger' at all festivals. Always a smile ear to ear, always a positive attitude. He wore a watch and removed the battery at 5:00PM the day he retired and told me it's always 5:00 somewhere as he raised his glass I did many a two-step with Bob and he will always be in my heart. I am going to sorely miss this man.
