Nanny, my grandmother, I wish I had more time with you in my life. I will always remember the times you drove hours down (even at above 60 years old) to visit us and bring big barrels of pretzels as a tradition. It was the best time of the year for me as a little kid. I remember exploring your big yard and you saying “ the trolls have left some treasure outside, go find it! ”. I was so elated to find four quarters and a couple of pennies hidden in the long stone wall Gramps built. I’ll never forget the smell of your house, which comforted me deeply.
I was too young to realize those moments would be forever cherished and remembered. Love and miss you <3.

Thank you, mom. Thank you for your unabiding and enduring love and protection. I will miss you and forever love you. I have always felt extremely lucky to have you as my mom and be born on your birthday. But, I know that I can “go to the woods and pull up a rock and sit” whenever I wish to visit you (her words to me a long time ago). XO Meg

Dear Cusack Family,
I send heartfelt sympathies to all of you, as I know how much your mom was beloved. I met "Peg" a few times as a close friend of Ann over the last 34 years. I remember she was so lovely and present when she spoke to me. And many things I didn't know that were so beautifully detailed in her obituary made me like her even more! What great memories of a life well lived by a woman who knew what was important.
I'll keep you all in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Grace Wagner

Back in the 60's, my mother, Judy Ross, had 4 young children with the youngest being diagnosed with a fatal disease. Mrs. C, with 4 babies of her own, thought nothing of adding 3 more to watch in order to ease her friend's burden as she spent time in hospitals and doctor's appts.
Fast forward to being a young mother myself, a visit to Mrs. C where her advice was to keep the lights dim and no one would notice the dust and dirt I couldn't keep up with :-)
"Surely Goodness and Mercy will follow her All the days of her life and SHE WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER" Rest for Eternity in the Dear Saviour Jesus' Arms, Mrs. Cusack♥
