Sending each of you my condolences and deepest thoughts. I am thinking of each of you constantly and holding you close to my heart. He was such a lovely human and raised such a beautiful family. He always made me look forward to a race, as he was high fiving and cheering us on the course. He always brought a smile and light to my day. May he shine as a light above in peace. Miss and adore each of you <3

Alison, Gillian, Alexandria … Family and Friends,
I wish to offer you all my heartfelt sympathy as I am deeply saddened to hear about Tom's passing.... "Tommy and I spent many years of our youth together. Our friendship was kindled as young boys in the Holy Family School. I can still remember the times that my Mother drove me from East Hanover for "play dates" with Tom at the Petersen home in Florham Park. Those are cherished distant memories. Our friendship continued through our youth together …. virtually "all the time" through Hanover Park High School and County College of Morris. Seldom did a week pass socially and in the academic sphere where we were apart. I was keenly aware and interested in Tom's driven passion and interest in Computer Programming Technology. Tom pursued this passion most earnestly from the age of seventeen onward with all the attributes of capacity and intellect that he possessed. Tom was actually seated in my home (with Me and my Father) witnessing the U.S. Selective Service Draft Lottery on National TV. Tommy enlisted in the U.S. Army and endured a difficult task advancing as an Operations Specialist at the U.S. Army Mortuary in Dover DE. We later traveled throughout North America together. I am very proud to post our photo as Tom served as the "Best Man" on our wedding day 1977. Sincerely, John Tully, White Township, NJ Phone 201-968-8929

Tom was a genuinely KIND person. No matter how busy, he made it a point to chat and could get you to talk. Because he listened without self-interest. I like telling him about my son’s skiing and I like asking him about his travels. Tom always showed what’s important to him – family and being a good human being.
He bought tickets for our lotto group. The last email I received from Tom was on April 2, two weeks before he passed away. His exact words - I’m sorry but I’m no longer healthy enough to run the Lottery any more. I’ll buy one big batch of tickets to take one last shot. It was painful to read because his message was too final, he was saying goodbye. I will miss him.

I still can’t believe that Tom is gone. It happens too quick to believe it. I still remember that Tom shared his situation with me before Christmas. He was very optimistic with the immune therapy. And was looking forward to the recovery and retirement in near future.
Tom joined ClaimPATH team from RAIN pretty much the same time as I joined Chubb in 2007. Since then I have been on the same team with Tom even after we Integrated with ACE. Not to mention that he is very knowledgeable and fun to work with. He is always so calm when things happened and always ready to help. Tom was always the person I would go to if I had questions, not matter it was about RAIN, ClaimVision. LN or CIS. He knows everything. He was joking all the time that he and Sunil will retire soon and leave ClaimPATH to me alone. Now I do wish Tom retired earlier and be able to enjoy his life with his family!
Last week I got a new lap top from the mail to replace my current one with green screen on Webex. When I was setting up my new computer the setup documents I used were written by Tom. Nobody asked him to do this, but he was such a nice person always willing to do extra to make other’s life easier.
Tom has two beautiful and talented daughters. Both loves to dance. I have three daughters and my youngest one also dances. So, we talked a lot on that topic. Even though I never met his family in person, but I felt that I know them well since Tom has his family pictures on his desk every single day, which none of us is doing it after we moved to Whitehouse station. He was such a loving father and always be there for his daughters. He was looking forward to walking down the aisle with his lovely daughters someday. I truly believe he will continue to watch them grow and bless them from the heaven.
In those old Chubb days, we had potluck parties from time to time. Once Tom brought buffalo chicken wings he made. I loved it so I got the recipe from him. Since then it became one of my family’s favorite dishes. Tom, I remember you every time I make buffalo chicken!
Thank Tim for sharing Tom’s last picture with teddy bear and the picture on Tim’s retirement party. I put tow pictures together and I saw such a familiar smile seems that Tom comes back to us. I will always remember Tom’s peaceful smile.

My heart goes out to Tom's family. He was truly a special person - soft-spoken, polite and always so pleasant. I'm grateful to have known him and to have worked with him. He will be missed so much by all of us at Chubb.

I'm another one who worked with Tom for close to 20 years. Tom, you will be missed. What everyone has said is all true, his love of Maine, skiing, his daughters, his family time, his really short commute. He was the only person I knew that would set up his desk every day, and take it down each night as our company moved to collaborative space (not our own desks). We are all better off for knowing Tom.

Tom would always be there to give advice on work or raising a daughter... He was always a kind soul and let me take pretzels from his pretzel jug whenever I needed a fix! LOL He always had a smile and was always willing to help! He will be missed! <3 My condolences to all of you!

My heart aches for all of you. Tom was a fantastic man and co-worker. One thing that you can always say about Tom and something that I hope is said about me, he was a GREAT father that loved his family more than anything.
Attached is the fun loving man that I worked with for many years.

Tom was a great guy, always there for you. I spent many years working with him at Chubb Insurance.. One summer we were able to connect up in Maine and take a tour of the Lie-Nielson Toolworks. His love of Maine, and woodworkinng, were astounding. My heart goes out to his friends and family.
