Obituary of Heather L Carlin

Heather Lee Carlin, 78 of Naples, FL and Mendham, NJ, passed away on 12/31/19 at her home in New Jersey. Funeral service will be held at Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church on 1/12/20 at 1pm with Reverend Dennis Jones officiating. Heather Lee Carlin was born in Morristown, NJ and graduated from Bernard’s High in 1959. She attended the Univeristy of Maryland. Most recently, Manager of Carlin Appraisal Service, Basking Ridge, NJ. Former Director of Operations, SHIPS MSO, Bethesda, MD; Senior Consultan, Kohler Health Care Consulting, Bethesday, MD. Also served as treasurer and most recently Dock Master at Harborside Gardens, Naples, FL; Director and on the Board of “Save the Bays”, Naples, FL and member and past Director of Naples Cruise Club. She enjoyed the Beach, Sailing, Reading/Journaling, Spiritual Growth and Loving her Family. Heather Lee Carlin is survived by her Husband, Bruce L. Carlin of Naples, FL and Mendham, NJ. Children, Heather Lee Ferguson (Charles Long), Katie Atkinson (Tony), John Kirchiro (Sheri), Scott Carlin (Cathleen), Stacie Lavine (Alan), as well as, 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and Loving Sisters, Jane Ruth (Ray), Linda Tomsik (Bill), Helen Ike (Richard), Helen Palazzi (Richard), Julie Forbes, and Heather Gae Sayles (Sam). She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. John & Mrs. (Helen) Forbes; Brother, John S. Forbes III; Former Husband, Michael L. Kirchiro and Son, Michael L Kirchiro Jr. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to AVOW Hospice at avowcares.org.
