My Big Brother Tien-Fang was always like a father figure to me. He was only 9 years older, but it seemed that He was the one in charge of my “Everything”! He checked my homework, especially math, when I was in Elementary School. He gave that suspicious look, made me not sure of my answer with “Chicken & Rabbit in the same cage” and always end up changing my answer to the wrong one. He would not let me to go with my classmates to the National Basketball Male Teams’ Practices by our High School even I had permission from my mom already. But, could you imagine he was the one saw my blouse for my sewing class assignment. When he left for the US for Advanced Education, I was the happiest kid! But I paid the price too! I did not get into a National University like him & my big sister Tien Hwa. My Big Brother Tien-Fang was the Pillar of our HOU Family. To parents, he had pure filial piety. To us 6 siblings, especially the 2 sisters left in China, he was very generous & caring. Because of his perseverance, we had our HOU FAMILY REUNION 7 times since 1989. Our Dearest Big Brother Tien-Fang: We loved YOU and we Respected You! YOU will be forever dearly missed by US ALL! 4th sister Tien Lo
